Brown on Cleveland is weighing in on the special recall election of Councilman Richard Trojanski of Maple Heights District 6. For several years, a group of council members has been said to have been targeting Trojanksi because of his sexuality. They tried to get rid of Trojanski once, but they were unsuccessful.
As this is their second attempt to recall Trojanski, the challenger (Tina Marbury) is said to be leading the pack of "sour grapes." Marbury wants to become the councilperson of District 6.
Rather than wait for the next election cycle, Marbury, along with three Maple Heights council members, are eager to oust Trojanski immediately.
Is this a case of colorism, sexism, classism, and racism?
Brown on Cleveland is confronting these issues. We are adding our two cents to their one cent, which is nonsense.
